It cannot detect the alignment page so it can scan it. The media sizes that are usable on this printing device include the index cards, transparencies, photo paper, legal, etc. In most cases VueScan doesn't need a driver from HP.

This printer has made me seriously reconsider ever purchasing another HP product have called HP several times - best they can do is suggest that I take it ph to the place I purchased it.
