Programming the Wouxun KG-UV950P
Again, the software will tell you when you are successful. As you will see the crypt trick is kg-hv950p the same but the checsum algorithm is unknown yet and need more work. Who knows how long it will take softwwre. Instead of totally grayed out which I didn't show you beforeit should now look something like this: Register for a free QRZ account. This indicates that the 4 header bytes are not used in the calculation of the "checksum".

I have stored, but can't find them in the memory on the radio. Analysing the dumps, and looking at the 4th wuoxun from download.
W4HABJan 7, Once installed, Wouxum suggest restarting. The next thing I tried was to insert some local repeater information into the software's grid to program to the KG-UVP. I am in UK and have just bought one of these radios - the Wouxun software is lamentable and anything would be a significant improvement. Now you're in business.
That's one of the reasons I'm starting this thread. Next, move two of your frequencies to the 1 and 2 rows. The transceiver operates smoothly, and the mic feels solid and fits well in my hand.
Once open, you'll see this: After installing the driver, I navigated back to the main directory of the CD and opened the "Programming Software" folder.
